This role ensures the proper issuance, activation, and management of RSA authentication tokens for personnel, enabling secure access to mission-critical systems. The contractor will work closely with IT Operations and Cybersecurity teams to train users, troubleshoot authentication issues, and ensure smooth integration of MFA solutions. This position requires frequent travel to international and domestic sites, supporting teams in onboarding and managing RSA tokens efficiently. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

RSA Token Deployment & Distribution:

Travel to global locations to issue RSA SecureID hardware tokens to authorized personnel. Provide guidance and assistance for the secure handling, registration, and activation of authentication tokens. Track and manage token inventory, issuance logs, and replacement cycles.

MFA Troubleshooting & Technical Support:

Address and resolve common RSA token issues, such as failed registration, expired, lost, or desynchronized tokens. Coordinate with IT Operations and Cybersecurity teams to resolve authentication failures and access issues. Provide guidance on alternative authentication methods when tokens are unavailable.

User Training & Support:

Provide on-site and remote training for end-users on proper token usage and security best practices. Provide on-site and remote training for Trusted Agents on proper end-user token support and token management best practices. Assist users with initial token setup, synchronization, and activation. Develop user-friendly guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources to enhance MFA adoption.

Documentation & Reporting:

Analyze and maintain detailed records of token issuance, revocation, and replacement. Generate periodic status reports on MFA deployment progress, user adoption rates, and technical issues. Ensure proper documentation of MFA distribution policies, processes, and best practices.

Compliance & Security Handling:

Ensure MFA deployment aligns with security protocols and best practices. Adhere to secure transportation and storage guidelines for distributing authentication devices. Enforce strict identity verification measures before issuing or replacing tokens.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with RSA SecureID administration and token lifecycle management. Background in cybersecurity or IT system administrator roles supporting authentication systems. Familiarity with DoD identity and access management frameworks.

Education and Experience:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in identity and access management (IAM), Active Directory and multifactor authentication technologies.

Certifications:

Must hold or be able to obtain either a CompTIA Security+ CE, or Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)

Preferred Qualifications:
Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of multifactor authentication (MFA), identity management, and RSA SecureID systems. Ability to diagnose and resolve authentication issues in enterprise environments.

Communication & Training Skills:

Strong user support and training skills, ensuring personnel are comfortable with MFA usage. Ability to create clear, concise documentation and training materials. Attention to

Precise tracking of token inventory, user assignments, and replacements. Ensuring all authentication devices are securely issued, stored, and transported.

Travel Adaptability:

Willingness to travel extensively for on-site MFA deployments. Ability to adapt to different operational environments across global locations.

Clearance Requirements:

Active Top Secret security clearance required Ability to travel internationally and domestically as required for MFA deployment and support Up to 75% travel required
