Overview:

SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia’s BestPlaces to Work, is looking for an experienced professional to joinour team! As a Red Team Penetration Tester IV, you will beresponsible for leading and executing complex penetration testingevents and conducting offensive cybersecurity operations for theU.S. Government and DoD systems. You will work collaboratively withBlue Team and Cybersecurity professionals to enhance overall cyberposture. Position is contingent upon award of contract, anticipatedin December of 2025.

Clearance:

An ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI eligibleclearance (IT Level I Tier 5 / Special-Sensitive Position) isrequired for this position. Applicants selected will be subject toa security investigation and may need to meet eligibilityrequirements for access to classified information. US Citizenshipis required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements:

In-depthunderstanding of computer security, military system specifications,and DoD cybersecurity policies Strong ability to communicateclearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations Mustpossess one or more of the following DoD 8570.01-

M CSSP Auditorcertifications:

CEH CySA

CISA GSNA CFR

PenTest Must possessOffensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification Mustpossess one or more of the following certifications: OffensiveSecurity Certified Expert (OSCE) Offensive Security ExploitationExpert (OSEE) Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP)

Responsibilities:

Develop, modify, and utilize offensive securitytools such as Metasploit, NMAP, Kali Linux, and Cobalt Strike Mimicthreat actor behavior using TTPs aligned with frameworks like

MITREATT&CK

Conduct assessments across multiple operating systemsincluding Linux, Windows, and macOS Perform exploit development andidentify zero-day or previously unknown vulnerabilities Analyze,identify, and remediate gaps in offensive tools and developmenttechniques Perform development with at least two scripting orprogramming languages (Python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, C#, etc.)in support of exploit development

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Ten (10) years of full-time professional experience conductingpenetration testing and/or offensive Cyber operations includingdemonstrated experience in each of the following areas: Developingand utilizing penetration tools such as Metasploit, NMAP, KaliLinux, Cobalt Strike Mimicking threat behavior and adversaryemulation Utilizing various operating systems (Linux, Windows, MACOS) Utilizing Active Directory Performing exploit developmentIdentifying gaps in tools and development techniques Performingdevelopment with at least two scripting or programming languages(python, C++, Java, Rust, Assembly, C#, etc.)

Education:

Bachelorof Science in Information Systems, Bachelor of Science inInformation Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, orBachelor of Science in
