What the Information Technology Department does at Worldwide The IT department is made up of seasoned professionals united in one common goal: to keep Worldwide’s technical infrastructure operating at the highest levels for our employees and our customers. We are a global team comprised of numerous professionals including cyber security, artificial intelligence, IT helpdesk, application support, and more. What you will do Define and evolve enterprise architecture aligned with business and tech goals. Partner with leaders to support clinical, regulatory, and commercial strategies. Oversee architecture for clinical systems like EDC, CTMS, and eTMF. Guide go-to-market architecture including CRM and digital engagement platforms. Lead planning for corporate systems such as ERP and HRIS. Map capabilities to applications using tools like LeanIX. Drive application rationalization to reduce complexity and optimize costs. Establish architecture standards and lead governance and review processes. What you will bring to the role Deep understanding of clinical trial systems, regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11), and data privacy (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and data architecture. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Your experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Minimum of 12 yearsof progressive experience in IT, with at least 7-10 yearsin enterprise architecture roles. Proven experience in the clinical research or life sciences industryis strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in application rationalizationand capability modelingusing tools like LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA.
