Your Responsibilities:
Security Monitoring:
Manage and optimize security tools such as SIEM, antivirus, DLP, and identity management systems. Proactively monitor security systems for suspicious activities. Analyze security logs to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Collaborate with Managed Security Service Providers to investigate incidents. Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests and manage them.
Incident Response:
Investigate, manage, and resolve security incidents. Perform thorough incident investigations and implement containment and remediation measures. Coordinate with other teams during incident response.
Security Operations:
Improve security processes and procedures. Review and optimize security controls at the network, device, and application levels. Assist in the development of security policies and standards.
Threat Hunting:
Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify and mitigate threats. Analyze network traffic and investigate system anomalies and suspicious user behavior. Monitor threat intelligence sources and stay informed about emerging security threats.
Requirements:
A completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. More than 3 years of experience in IT security operations or a related area. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CEH) are advantageous. Extensive knowledge in managing security tools like SIEM, antivirus, DLP, and identity management systems. Experience in analyzing security logs and conducting vulnerability scans and penetration tests. Proficiency in incident response methods and investigating security incidents. Knowledge of optimizing security processes and developing security policies. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and network security. Knowledge of application security principles (e.g., OWASP Top 10). Familiarity with best practices in cloud security. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
