Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cybersecurity Communication Consultant to support incident management, compliance, and documentation efforts within the cybersecurity team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining cybersecurity procedures and playbooks
, ensuring data accuracy in incident reports, and facilitating governance documentation. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational and communication skills
, a proactive mindset, and experience in cybersecurity governance and technical writing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, update, and maintain cybersecurity procedures and playbooks
.
Compile and present weekly and monthly incident management reports for internal stakeholders.
Provide quality assurance on incident management data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
Monitor adherence to cybersecurity incident management protocols and compliance requirements.
Organize and retrieve documentation required for internal audits
.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive incidents, investigations, and vulnerabilities.
Track and status small-scale communication projects to enhance operational workflows.
Assist with maintaining SharePoint and integrating process flows for streamlined activities.
Required Qualifications
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills
, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
Experience in writing governance documentation for cybersecurity (e.g., procedures, playbooks).
High degree of creativity, self-motivation, and commitment to task execution
.
Expertise in office automation tools
, including SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
.
Proven ability to manage and track multiple operational priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Cybersecurity experience
, particularly in incident management and governance
.
Technical writing expertise with verifiable experience.
Familiarity with GLBA regulations and compliance standards.
