Role:
Cloud Admin & Certificate Manager Location:
Charlotte, NC Required skills: Strong Networking Knowledge, Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Monitoring and Performance Optimization. Preferred background in Proficiency in Major Cloud Platforms, Cloud Security Expertise.
- Knowledge in Azure Cloud Infrastructure. Hands on experience in, Create VMs in Azure data center and install OS/images Windows/Linux.
- Patch management – Install latest patches in VMs.
- VMs backup in Azure native cloud and restoration.
- Register applications through Azure app registration.
- Create storage accounts in Azure service.
- Shared folder creation in file server.
- Providing share folder access to the users.
- Azure Active Directory Management
- Add DNS host file in the Active Directory.
ITSM -ITIL
aligned Operations with Experience in Incident Management, Problem Management, Service request Management , Change Management. Certificate Management
- Maintain an inventory of all certificates in use at client infra with owners, expiration date, certificate types, etc.
- Produce a weekly report of all certificates set to expire in the next 30, 60 and 90 days.
- Work with the app owners to make sure a change has been submitted to have the cert renewed, for certificates set to expire within 30 days.
- Produce quarterly metrics on number of certificates renewed, expired prior to renewal and certificate related incidents identified.
- Support in automation and streamline the process by working with security and cloud teams.
