Chandler AZ Contract to hire About the Role As an Information Security Analyst , you will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents within a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, enhance security protocols, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Conduct security analysis and incident response for low-to-medium risk deliverables. Utilize SIEM and SOAR tools (Splunk, Chronicle, XSOAR) to detect and mitigate threats. Identify opportunities for process improvements within security operations. Research, evaluate, and recommend security solutions to enhance protection. Provide technical guidance to internal teams on security best practices. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements . Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis or equivalent (work, consulting, military, education). 1+ year of experience working in a SOC environment . Hands-on experience with SIEM and SOAR tools (Splunk, Chronicle, XSOAR). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in cybersecurity . Preferred Qualifications Experience with threat intelligence, digital forensics, or vulnerability management . Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate security risks effectively.
