Charlotte, NC/ Westlake, Texas/ Chandler, Arizona/ Minneapolis, Minnesota/ West Des Moines, Iowa Hybrid Contract to Hire About the Role We are looking for an experienced IAM Domain Policy Lead to oversee the Information Security IAM Domain Policy program. In this role, you will align IAM policies with industry regulations (NIST, FFIEC) and security best practices (Zero-Trust). You will collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to ensure the consistent implementation, enforcement, and evolution of IAM policies while staying ahead of emerging IAM trends and technologies. What You’ll Do Provide technical leadership for the IAM Domain Policy program. Assess and align IAM policies with financial industry standards. Consult with business units to ensure policy adherence and risk mitigation. Evaluate IAM solutions, tools, and practices to establish enforceable policies. Ensure IAM capabilities integrate seamlessly into the company’s technology architecture. Monitor adherence to IAM policies and identify areas for improvement. Research and implement emerging IAM technologies (cloud IAM, passwordless authentication, DevSecOps). Serve as an advisor to senior leadership on IAM security strategy. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis or equivalent work experience, training, military experience, or education. 3+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM). 1+ year of experience in policy development and implementation. Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Strong knowledge of IAM principles, technologies, solutions, and best practices. Experience with IAM tools (Okta, Azure Entra, PAM, IGA, MFA). Familiarity with cloud IAM platforms (Azure, Azure Entra, GCP). Exposure to DevSecOps practices and integration strategies. Knowledge of Policy-as-Code tools (Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Chef, Puppet, Ansible). Understanding of emerging IAM technologies (decentralized identity, blockchain-based identity, passwordless authentication). Experience with policy adherence automation using AI/ML. Background in financial services industry security practices. Strong understanding of security controls and risk management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP).
