Work Schedule:

 Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. To read more about what our tech team does, be sure to visit our tech blog at ally.tech We are seeking a highly skilled Privileged Identity Expert to lead and support enterprise-level Privileged Identity Management (PIM) initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of privileged access, regulatory and audit requirements, cloud and on-premises security models, and secrets management. This role will play a pivotal part in advancing Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and Just-in-Time (JIT) access principles across a hybrid environment. Audit & Compliance Leadership
Interpret and apply regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, FedRAMP) to privileged access environments.
Support internal and external audits, document control procedures, and mitigate audit findings.
Privileged Access Strategy & Governance
Develop and implement enterprise PIM strategy aligned with Zero Trust principles and business goals.
Collaborate with security architects, risk officers, and cloud platform teams to ensure secure and scalable privileged access design.
Privileged Activity Monitoring
Lead implementation and tuning of session recording, command logging, and behavioral monitoring for privileged sessions.
Evaluate telemetry and analytics to identify anomalies across Windows, Linux, SaaS platforms, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Secrets Management
Assess, recommend, and implement enterprise-grade secrets vaulting solutions.
Ensure integration with DevOps pipelines, databases, infrastructure-as-code tools, and identity platforms.
JIT Access Enablement
Drive deployment of time-bound, approval-based privileged access to critical systems and applications.
Work with IAM teams to ensure seamless user lifecycle integration and identity federation.
Communication & Influence
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, communicating complex risks in clear, business-relevant terms.
Draft strategy briefs, policy documents, and board-level presentations.
The Skills You Bring
8-10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM) or PIM.
Demonstrated expertise with tools such as Delinea, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, HashiCorp Vault, Azure PIM, or AWS Secrets Manager.
Strong familiarity with identity governance platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt).
Deep knowledge of Zero Trust frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-207) and JIT provisioning models.
Experience with hybrid environments (Active Directory, Azure AD, AWS IAM, Linux PAM, Kubernetes RBAC).
Proven success managing audits and delivering compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Excellent negotiation, written communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Certifications CISSP, CISM, or CCSP
Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
Azure/AWS/GCP Security or Architect Certification
