Work Schedule:
Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. Your hiring manager will discuss this role’s specific work requirements with you during the hiring process. The Opportunity
Driven by curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning, our Technology/Cyber Control Testing professionals are at the forefront of understanding the financial services industry and applying industry regulations to our business units at Ally. In this role, you’ll work in a collaborative and agile environment, leveraging your critical thinking skills to execute control testing activities and communicate the results of testing. The Principal Lead is primarily responsible for leading/executing assigned projects and issue validations related to the Cyber/IT functions and activities at Ally in accordance with applicable standards, and defined plans, budgets, and schedules.

The Work Itself
Partner with Ally Technology and Cyber Leaders working cross-functionally while conducting individual control tests.
Assist to develop, complete, and document tests in accordance with Ally policies and procedures and industry best practices.
Use data literacy and analytics to provide consultation to management regarding emerging control practices.
Participate in uplift initiatives will be essential to the function’s contribution to the enterprise and its continuing role within Ally business.
Proactively identify emerging risks and remain informed of emerging risk trends and industry-leading mitigation practices.
Complete assigned validations of findings and issue management activities with quality and in accordance with Ally standards.
The Skills You Bring
5+ years of work experience in audit, assurance, or equivalent line of service strongly preferred with focus on technology/cyber.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (i.e., Cyber, Computer Science, Accounting, Auditing, Computer Information Systems, etc.) or comparable combination of education and experience (including military service).
Relevant certification (CIA, CISA, CISSP, CPA, etc.) is preferred.
Detail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed, and organized.
A desire to creatively identify problems that potentially were not known to exist and provide solutions and/or recommendations.
