Common Criteria Security Engineer Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Description We are looking for a skilled Common Criteria Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with product teams, external labs, and government organizations to ensure compliance with Common Criteria standards. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to the entire lifecycle of certification processes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with third-party laboratories, global engineers, and program managers to support certification initiatives.
• Collaborate with product development, testing, and quality assurance teams to ensure pre-certification and certification requirements are met.
• Analyze and assess the feasibility of certification processes and assurance strategies.
• Develop and review technical documentation related to certification standards and requirements.
• Perform network assessments and business analyses to evaluate certification readiness.
• Engage with government bodies and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with Common Criteria standards.
• Utilize Cisco technologies and tools, including routers, switches, and security systems, for certification and deployment activities.
• Provide configuration management and oversee technical evaluations for certification projects.
• Support datacenter and deployment operations as part of the certification lifecycle.
• Work in a team-oriented environment, ensuring smooth collaboration throughout the certification process. Requirements
• At least 2-3 years of experience with government policies and technical expertise related to Common Criteria.
• Proficiency in using Cisco routers, Catalyst switches, and other Cisco technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and configuration management.
• Experience in technical documentation and evaluations for certification purposes.
• Familiarity with datacenter operations and deployment processes.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and program managers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess certification feasibility.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with external labs and government organizations.
