Job Summary:

We are looking for a well-rounded Cyber Security Engineer with dual expertise in Security Operations Center (SOC) functions and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
. This role involves managing incident response, threat detection, and reporting, while also supporting compliance, risk assessments, audits, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations (SOC):
Monitor and investigate security incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).
Perform incident response
, triage, containment, and remediation.
Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability analysis.
Maintain and tune detection rules and alerting logic.
Ensure continuous improvement in incident handling playbooks.
Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC):
Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures
.
Support risk assessments
, control gap analysis, and mitigation tracking.
Coordinate and prepare for internal and external security audits
.
Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory frameworks such as

ISO 27001, NIST, SOC

2, GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
Contribute to vendor risk assessments and third-party security reviews.
Maintain and update risk registers and support governance reporting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years each in SOC operations and GRC functions

Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms
, network security
, endpoint protection
, and incident response frameworks
.
Familiarity with GRC tools (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow GRC, MetricStream).
Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, etc.).
Strong communication skills with ability to prepare executive-level reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP
, CISA
, CISM
, Security+
, or CEH
.
Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Experience automating compliance and security workflows.
Familiarity with risk quantification and business impact analysis
