Job Responsibility
Perform accessibility testing of web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with
ADA, WCAG
2.1/2.2, and other accessibility standards.
Utilize assistive technologies such as screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation to evaluate user experiences.
Conduct manual and automated accessibility audits using tools like Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, and Accessibility Insights.
Document accessibility issues with clear steps to reproduce, expected vs actual results, and applicable WCAG criteria.
Collaborate with developers and designers to provide remediation guidance and best practices for accessible design and code.
Participate in accessibility reviews during design, development, and testing phases to identify issues early in the SDLC.
Stay updated with evolving accessibility laws, standards, and tools
, and share knowledge with internal teams.
Create test plans and test cases specifically focused on accessibility requirements and scenarios.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by working with users with disabilities to validate accessible experiences.
Deliver reports and presentations on accessibility findings and progress to stakeholders, including risk assessments and timelines for remediation.
Requirements:
Experience in
ADA, WCAG
2.1/2.2, and other accessibility standards
Experience in creating test plans and test cases specifically focused on accessibility requirements and scenarios.
Experience in working with screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation to evaluate user experiences.
Banking and Financial Industry experience
