Areyou ready to maximize your potential with us? The Position SecurityOperations Specialist II will identify and respond to IT Securityincidents. The individual will conduct threat hunting to identifyotherwise undetected threats in the environment. The individualwill identify opportunities for improving Novo Nordiskinfrastructure security and serve as IT Security Architect forassigned services. Relationships Reports to the Senior Manager

• Global Security Operations
• Americas. Will support the AdvancedSecurity Operations function lead by the Associate Director GlobalSecurity Operations
• EMEA.

Will interface internally with GlobalInformation Security and Global Security Operations management,Global IT Operations Infrastructure Service Managers andArchitects, IT users in all business areas, HR organization, GroupInternal Audit, and Legal. Will interface externally mainly withsuppliers including Trellix, Mandiant, Crowdstrike Domain Tools,Microsoft (M365 EXO, Security & Compliance center, eDiscovery,Defender, etc.) and security organizations. Essential Functions

• Security Incident identification, handling, and management
• Detection and response to IT security incidents using availabletools and technology
• Development and implementation of technologyand tools to strengthen the detection and identification of threatsand adapt to changing and developing threats
• Perform forensicinvestigations
• Investigation and response to security incidents
• Assistance and training to GSO-Americas and APAC in analyses ofsecurity incidents
• Data analyses to identify indicators ofcompromise and identify areas of improvement concerning IT Securityin Novo Nordisk
• Threat Hunting
• Conduct threat huntingactivities utilizing search techniques and well known TTP of threatactors
• Utilize threat intelligence indicators and MitreATT&CK framework to form hunt searches looking for maliciousactivity
• Inform and conduct triage of any findings
• Contributeto and/or develop content (SIEM) recommendations
• Engage inimproving Novo Nordisk infrastructure security
• Establishment andmaintenance of relationships with internal security organizations(vendors, infrastructure, and security departments)
• Engage withInfrastructure Service Managers and Architects to improve NovoNordisk infrastructure security
• Identify and communicateopportunities for improving Novo Nordisk infrastructure securityPhysical Requirements 0-5% overnight travel required.

This positionwould require shift work which will include weekends.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science,Information Systems, and or Electrical Engineering is required;relevant experience may be substituted for degree when appropriate
• A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible relevantexperience
• Excellent operational IT Security experience
• Experience in handling of major incidents
• Expert in incidentresponse
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of alljob assignments
• Ability to develop and maintain relationshipswithin the global organization
• Ability to balance many concurrenttasks and deliver on agreed deadlines The base compensation rangefor this position is $81,010 to $145,820 Base compensation isdetermined based on a number of factors.

This position is alsoeligible for a company bonus based on individual and companyperformance.
