Overview Sr. Associate Cybersecurity plays a crucial role inprotecting an organization’s digital assets and infrastructure fromcyber threats. These professionals are the defenders againstcyberattacks, leveraging their technical expertise, analyticalthinking, and problem-solving skills to ensure robustcybersecurity. Below is a detailed breakdown of the keyresponsibilities. Responsibilities Monitor and analyze securityevents and incidents from various sources, including SIEM (SecurityInformation and Event Management) systems, firewalls, intrusiondetection/prevention systems, and other security tools. Investigateand respond to security incidents, including identifying the rootcause, assessing the impact, and implementing remediation actions.

Perform threat hunting activities to proactively identify potentialsecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Collaborate with other IT andsecurity teams to develop and implement security policies,procedures, and best practices. Conduct regular securityassessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.

Maintain and update incident response plans and playbooks. Managefirewalls rule policies along with Security devices upgrades andmaintenance Managing

devices Validate Software’s andapplications and help with the approvals Validate Security toolsinstallations Provide timely and accurate reports on securityincidents, trends, and metrics to management. Stay up-to-date withthe latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies. Monitorand analyze findings from vulnerability scans and penetrationtests. System hardening implementation and monitoring across ITlandscape Evaluate discovered vulnerabilities based on risk impact(CVSS scoring, business criticality) to prioritize remediationefforts. Collaborate with system administrators, applicationowners, and development teams to ensure timely patching andremediation of identified vulnerabilities. Track remediationprogress and ensure vulnerabilities are addressed within definedservice level agreements (SLAs). Prepare detailed vulnerabilitymanagement reports for both technical and non-technicalstakeholders, including senior leadership.

Qualifications:

5 yearsof experience in a Network Security or similar role. Strongknowledge of security technologies and tools, including SIEM,IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus software. Experience withincident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management.

Familiarity with common attack vectors and techniques, such asphishing, malware, and ransomware. Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamworkabilities. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIASecurity) are a plus.
