Saab is seeking a Cyber Security Manager tojoin our team in East Syracuse, NY . This individual will overseeinformation assurance activities for Saab’s corporate environmentsensuring compliance with the Cyber Security Maturity ModelCertification (CMMC), and Internation Standards Organization (ISO)standards. The Cyber Security Manager will provide expert advice inevaluating and designing security solutions and working withtechnicians throughout the company in implementing, maintaining andconstantly improving the information security practice. The rightindividual should be well organized with the ability to work crossfunctionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures andincorporate industry best practices. Develop and maintain systemsecurity plans, risk assessments, and other Risk ManagementFramework related artifacts. Resolving vulnerabilities identifiedduring security scans, apply required patches and SecurityTechnical Implementation Guides (STIGs), performingself-assessments, and support third-party SCA assessments.
Preparation of documentation to include Systems Security Plans(SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation(C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices(SRTMs) Planning, designing, and building security architecturesthat meet DoD/ISO/NIST/CMMC requirements in coordination with IT.Managing requirements for network and computer security and ensurescompliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Defining cybersecurity requirements for local area networks (LANs),wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs),routers, firewalls, and related network devices. Conducting riskassessments. Responding immediately to cybersecurity-relatedincidents across multiple teams and providing a thorough post-eventanalysis. Investigate intrusion incidents and conducts forensicinvestigations. Investigating security alerts to determineapplicability to the environments. Interfacing with variousgovernment/customer representatives Participation in internalproposal efforts related to cybersecurity/IA requirements Manageand update the Information Security Awareness program Performingsecurity assessments based on NIST and contractual requirementsParticipating in selection and operation of security infrastructureincluding vulnerability management, SEIM solution, incidentresponse tools, etc. Manage team of information/cyber securityprofessionals
Compensation Range:
$146,800-$190,800 CJ Thecompensation range provided is a general guideline. When extendingan offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limitedto) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and marketand business considerations, as well as the candidate’s workexperience, key skills, and education/training.

Qualifications:
Ability to present results/content tocustomers (internal or external) or other stakeholders. Experiencedeveloping, applying, and assessing secure technical baselines forvarious applications and products (i.e., Windows OS, Linux OS,firewalls, switches, etc.) Strong knowledge of NIST Standardsrelating to information technology, cybersecurity and riskmanagement Ability to plan/coordinate security and/or cybersecurityactivities across multiple programs within the business Knowledgeof handling required for data spills and security incidents Abilityto manage internal and external customer expectations; and providepresentations to executive leadership, government members, andexternal customers Excellent interpersonal and analytical skillsMust hold a current SECRET clearance.
Education/Certifications:
BA/BS degree in information assurance or related discipline 15years of experience Or MA/MS degree in information assurance orrelated discipline 13 years of experience

Proven ability to network with keystakeholders outside of the security team and adapt communicationstyle to persuade and advise others on security matters. Can leadcross-functional teams and interact effectively with variousdepartments to achieve security objectives.

This position requires a highly skilled professionalwith a passion for security and risk management. The Cyber SecurityManager will play a crucial role in fostering a secure andcompliant environment across all facets of the organization.
