The opportunity.
Trumid is seeking an experienced Technology Operations Manager to support and collaborate with the Director of Technology Operations. This role will help oversee platform operations, business operations, and technology compliance while ensuring the growth and health of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be located in the NYC Tri-State area, and drive operational excellence, manage key relationships, and build client trust through reliable systems and processes.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in overseeing platform operations including cloud providers, data centers, SaaS solutions, environments, and integrations
Support business operations and technology compliance initiatives across the organization
Implement and maintain metrics reporting, technical change announcements, and documentation
Help manage team culture, talent attraction, retention, and development processes
Support financial management including budget planning, cost management, and resource allocation
Drive risk and compliance efforts including vendor/client legal agreements, DDQs, tech policy management, and BCP testing
Lead security operations with comprehensive focus on security frameworks, data security, and identity/access management
Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Conduct regular security assessments and drive remediation efforts
Lead service and support functions including incident management, client technical support, production support, and internal systems and desktop support
Supervise release and change management processes to ensure smooth production deployments
Track and improve operational efficiency metrics (MTTD, MTTR, change success ratio, service availability)
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including technical teams, executives, clients, and vendors
Build client trust through system uptime, proactive issue detection, and effective service delivery

Desktop Support:
Windows OS, macOS, Microsoft 365, VPN solutions, remote access tools, Crowdstrike, MDM platforms (Intune, Kandji), JIRA ticketing systems, hardware lifecycle and asset management
About you.
7+ years of experience in technology operations, infrastructure management, or similar technical leadership roles
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; technical certifications preferred
Located in the NYC tri-state area with the ability to be in our NYC office 2-3 days a week, preferred
Proven track record in managing technology operations in financial services or trading environments
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, SaaS solutions, and modern IT management practices
Strong experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), risk management, and compliance in regulated environments
Security certification required (CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent)
Experience implementing and managing comprehensive security programs
Excellent leadership skills with ability to manage teams, contractors, and vendor relationships
Strong financial acumen for budget planning and cost management
Knowledge of incident management methodologies and service delivery metrics
Experience with release management and change control processes
Exceptional communication skills across all levels of the organization
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and technical stakeholders

In compliance with New York City Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role in New York City is between $200,000 – $250,000. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with this job. Several factors are considered when determining a candidate’s compensation.
