As a Ping Cyber Security Engineer II, you will beinvolved with every facet of our enterprise systems, including ourSoftware-as-a-Service business areas. You will be responsible forhelping to build out and deploy security automation, hardensecurity configuration, provide incident response, and more withinthe Cyber Security Engineering team. Cyber Security Engineers areexpected to have a broad understanding of security principles, andbe able to communicate and support other teams in the design anddeployment of security and robust systems. This role would be wellsuited to an experienced Security Operations Centre analyst, orSite Reliability Engineer looking to transition into SecurityEngineering.

You will:

Support the design, develop, and implementincident response playbooks Perform incident response andcoordination Support in the assessment of system design and changeBe part of a weekly on-call rotation Support the design, develop,and implement engineered solutions that are reliable andmaintainable Support in detection engineering RequirementsExperience with automation within Security Orchestration andAutomation Tooling, as well as, bespoke scripting automationExperience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)Systems, ideally, Google Chronicle, and YARA-L Strong understandingof Cloud (preferred AWS/GCP) Understanding of containertechnologies, notably, Kubernetes and Docker Experience deployingand utilising Endpoint Detection and Response tools You have anadvantage if: You have experience working as a security incidentresponder Programming experience, preferred

Go Salary:

$103,000-$123,593 In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for EqualWork Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for thisrole in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this rolewill be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills,and abilities. Life at
