We are looking for passionate, inspirational, hands-on leadersfor Pure’s fast-growing and innovative Cyber Resilience FieldSolutions Architect team. This group is composed of highlymotivated technical sales resources whose goal is to develop andlead Pure’s Cyber Resilience business, including providingguidance, enablement, and support of sales opportunities andpartnerships across their assigned region. This leader must be ableto discover our client’s and partners’ overall business objectivesand articulate how Pure’s value proposition and technicalcapabilities align with their goals. In addition, this unique rolerequires an individual that is an expert in Cyber Resilience andCybersecurity technologies, processes, and market leaders. Thisperson is responsible for enhancing Pure’s account teams, FSAs,partners, and other relevant internal resources’ knowledge in thearea of Cybersecurity. In addition, this individual will ensureaccount teams are effectively qualifying and positioning CyberResilience opportunities across their assigned territory. Thisposition requires the ability to work cross-functionally with amultitude of departments to align initiatives and go-to-marketcampaigns, in addition to multitasking across different clients andsales opportunities. What you will be responsible for:
- Creatingfield facing solutions content (Technical Walkthroughs, Deep Dives,Qualification Guides, etc.) for specific solutions around CyberResilience
- Mainstreaming Cyber Resilience and Cybersecurityknowledge, including enablement projects to better equip the fieldto have relevant conversations with their customers and prospects
- Webinars/Events presentations including internal and externalcontent with Alliance Partners, Channel Partners, Vendors, etc.
- Identify and enable potential field leaders for Cybersecurity forheightened responsibilities in this area, including across theCyber Resilience FSA team
- Advise leadership on appropriatemethodologies and strategies to increase overall Cybersecurityknowledge and enhance Pure’s position in the market
- Participatein customer facing calls, demos, POCs, EBCs, internalstrategy/sizing sessions, and other related solution-focusedactivities
- Stay abreast of advancements in both internal productofferings and external partner offerings as well as ourcompetitors’ offerings
- Solutions Roadmap participation/influence,daily conversations with Solutions Architects and ProductManagement about field impact, deals, and feedback from the fieldon existing solutions, etc.
- Daily Slack availability andenablement, leading to customer/opportunity influence
- Post-salesassistance with expert level knowledge around solutions
- Partnerwith Sales & SE Leaders for two-way feedback and communication
- Bea beacon of positivity capable of inspiring and motivating thefield to reach higher levels of success and attracting customers toadopt Pure Storage technology
- High degree of cross-functionalengagement with other GTM and corporate functions
- Communicate,connect, and align people within the direct team and developinternal relationships across Pure Storage
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TOTHE TABLE
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related fieldor equivalent experience
- 10 years of experience in theInformation Security field, including hands-on experiencedesigning, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive securityarchitectures and standards
- Strong acumen in the Cybersecurityspace with deep interest and vision for the industry, includingknowledge of the landscape and Pure’s solutions with a focus on thefollowing: o Deep understanding of industry standard securityframeworks such as
NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, MITRE
ATT&CK, CIATriad, etc. o Familiarity with Governance, Risk, & Compliancemodels across multiple verticals o Expert level experience withsecurity technologies and concepts such as SIEM, XDR, SOAR, IAM,DLP, EDR, etc. . o Familiarity/experience with threat modeling,penetration testing, vulnerability management, incident analysisand response, and forensic analysis and investigations oUnderstanding of modern cyber threat and vulnerabilities landscapeo Working knowledge of cyber attack chains and potential mitigatingfactors o Preferred professional level Information Securitycertifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, or CCSK
- Strongunderstanding of infrastructure (servers, networking, storage,etc.) technologies
- Self-motivated individual with an ownershipmindset who drives the business to overachieve expectations
- Exceptional level of specialized sales experience withCybersecurity product solutions and a solid understanding of PureStorage’s capabilities as well as competitive advantages
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability toexplain complex concepts simply
- Able to articulate and understandthe customer strategy and Pure Storage’s solution strategy to atechnical level of detail for the Cybersecurity domain and teachsystems engineers and account executives these concepts
- Strongtechnical and tactical problem solving skills and experience withcomplex engineering designs
- Proficiency with CRM and opportunitymanagement systems, preferably Salesforce.com
- Ability to travelthroughout the US, Canada, and other territories as required
