Role:
TheSolutions Engineer is responsible for identifying new clientrevenue opportunities. In addition, the role is responsible for thesales strategy, obtaining the correct support infrastructure toassist the sale as well as delivering the required results. Thesolutions engineers in the global practice should be technology andsolution advisors with pragmatic experience in a particularsecurity domain. These solutions engineers will act in many ways assolution consultants that can speak to the security landscape,architectural models and solutions credibly, and possess theability to discuss and present to senior members of a client team.
The solutions engineer needs a depth of knowledge and experience inone or more of the following core domains: Security ConsultingServices, Managed Security Services, Incident Response and/orThreat Detection. The solutions engineer should also be able tospeak to the breadth of the landscape at an introductory level aswell. The solutions engineer will provide subject matter expertisethrough delivery of workshops, as a member of pre-sales andconsulting engagements, and as leader on solution design anddeployment projects. The solutions engineer should be versant insolution design methodologies (e.g. Best Practices type ofapproaches) and have the ability to generate high quality artifactssuch as requirements artifacts, high level and detailed designs anddeployment plans. Solid understandingand experience working a structured solution design methodologyResponsibilities Participate in sales conference calls and prospectvisits, providing product demonstrations in person and via WebEx,and working with prospects at both a technical and business levelto show how Trustwave’s security solutions can meet their businessneeds. Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric selling anda proven track record using it to help drive revenue Participate asa technical resource at trade shows and conferences Workindependently and as a vital member of a sales team Work with thesales team to strategize on sales approaches to develop businessEnsure successful on-site and remote product evaluations (POCs) andpost-sale installations when necessary About You 3 years ofexperience working in a pre-sales capacity related to at least twoof the following core domains: Network Security, Endpoint Security,Security Consulting, Incident Response, SIEM, Threat Detection andManaged Security solutions. Strong leadership skills with theability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplinedmanner. Set and manage expectations with senior stake-holders andteam members Excellent communication and presentation skills withthe ability to present to a variety of external audiences,including being able to interact with senior executives Hands-ontechnical understanding of incident response, computer forensics,network, endpoint and/or application security 4 years or equivalentexperience in consulting or sales engineering

English:
Fluent Preferred 5years of experience working in a pre-sales capacity related to atleast two of the following core domains: Network Security, EndpointSecurity, Security Consulting, Incident Response, SIEM, ThreatDetection and Managed Security solutions. Preferred location-Virginia state Prior experience working for federal governmentsector would be highly preferred Previous technical enablement ortraining experience. Hands-on experience with Intrusion DetectionSystems, Security Information Event Management solutions, packetanalysis tools and operating system analysis. Excellent knowledgeof security solutions and technologies, including: Linux, Networkarchitecture/implementation/configuration experience Knowledge ofpacket flow/TCP/UDP traffic Firewall technologies, proxytechnologies, anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions (Gateway andSaaS) Malware/security experience Understand and be conversantabout Trustwave competitors, their solutions, strengths,weaknesses, opportunities and threats Basic knowledge in one ormore of the following security and compliance/regulatory standards:
CIS, ISO
2700x, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, PIPEDA, HK
PDPO, EU
DPD,BDSG, DISA-STIG,etc. Verifiable and current certifications,including
CISSP, CISM, C
|EH, CISM and/or CISA.
Education:
