Your Role:

In this role, theInformation Security Engineer will evaluate, coordinate, implementand maintain Cybersecurity systems. They will work closely withInformation Security analysts and members of the IT Department toensure the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of assets,primarily in a highly controlled environment.

Your Opportunity:

Recommend, evaluate and deploy solutions to improve securityposture Identify opportunities to improve the quality andresiliency of cybersecurity systems and applications Provideoperational support and maintenance of security appliances Assistin the identification and remediation of threats across theenterprise and mitigate risks from assessments reported by SecurityAnalysts or 3rd party associates Document projects and writeStandard Operating Procedures Establish and maintain a strongworking relationship with all team members Manage time andtechnical responsibilities, set accurate expectations and meetdeadlines Provide off-hours support on an infrequent but as neededbasis May perform other duties and responsibilities that managementmay deem necessary from time to time

What Youll Need:

U.S. Citizenand currently hold an active Security Clearance) Minimum 4 years ofexperience in Information Security BA/BS in Computer Science,Information Technology, SANS training or equivalent experienceExperience with securing Windows, Linux, mobile devices and IaaSTechnical understanding and experience with network securitytechnology including IDS and IPS, Firewalls and network trafficanalysis Understanding of the TCP/IP protocol stack and applicationprotocols such as HTTP, SNMP, SMTP, DNS, and DHCP Experience withauthentication protocols for network resources including 802.1x,SSH, TACACS, LDAP Experience with security controls for WAN, LAN,WLAN, VPN and Cloud architectures Hands-on experience with 5 of thefollowing: vulnerability scanning, firewall, antivirus & malwareanalysis, IDS/IPS, log correlation tools, SIEM, VMWare, NACExperience with Splunk ES and/or Trend Micro Deep Security ispreferred Experience in a FedRAMPed environment is a plus Abilityto perform well, in an agile environment, with minimal supervisionSelf-motivated while demonstrating a passion for Cybersecurity Mayperform other duties and responsibilities that management may deemnecessary from time to time.

Ideally:

Security, GIAC GCIH or otherInfosec certifications is a plus LI-Hybrid LI-MM1 This is the basepay range for this position. Compensation for the role will dependon a number of factors, including the candidates qualifications,skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outsideof the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variablecompensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles,bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individualperformance.
