The Regional Information Security Officer (RISO) implements theglobal information security requirements and specifies/expands thembased on regional information security requirements without beingcontradictory to the global requirements. The RISO is the CISO’sfirst contact regarding all security topics within the GEA’s regionand responsible for all information security topics within theregion.

We are seeking a dynamic RegionalInformation Security Officer Americas to join GEA . This role willoversee project execution teams, managing scope, schedules, andrisks while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. As RegionalInformation Security Officer Americas at GEA, you will contributeto innovative and sustainable solutions at GEA. Monitor regionalinformation security requirements Identifies applicability ofsecurity business needs within the region, especially with regardsto trends and risks Assist in the implementation of the globalInformation Security Management System (ISMS) and global businesscontinuity standards within the region and handle informationassets as well as security and business continuity risks Coordinatethe Business Impact Analysis and define, test, and assist in theexecution of the Business Continuity Plans together with theaccountable process owners Collaborates with local/regionalmanagement and asset owners to ensure all security related controlsand measures are implemented, managed, controlled and reportedPerform security and business continuity reviews and audits,monitor the information security requirements, and participate inthe security and business continuity incident handling processMonitors, manages and reports security business performance targetsfor area of responsibility, aligned with regional and overallsecurity strategy performance metrics Is responsible for handlingregional information security incidents Report security andbusiness continuity incidents to the authorities in accordance withthe incident handling process Instruct functionally the LocalInformation Security Officer (LISO) and receives continuousreporting from the LISOs Act as a LISO for the home location YourProfile / Qualifications As a person, you are a good communicatorand collaborator and are able to negotiate with both customers andsuppliers. You take a methodical approach to security and are alsoable to take ownership of budget forecasts and finances. Hold abachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology/computerscience/cybersecurity, business administration, or a relatedtechnical discipline Experience leading the development andimplementation of information security policies, procedures, andguidelines to ensure compliance with relevant regulations andstandards Have in-depth know-how in management systems, audits, anddealing with audit findings Have in-depth know-how in

ISO 27001,NIST SP 800-171, IEC 62443, ISO 22301
