This position bridges Technology and Procurement, aligning processes to achieve common goals. You will be responsible for the procurement and renewal of hardware and software products for Admin’s office of Deputy Chief of Staff. This position will be primary point of contact for Division of Information Security (DIS) for information security purchases and renewals. You will work directly with management to guide the division through the purchasing process, and ensuring all documentation meets state procurement guidelines If you are a detail oriented individual, and thrive in the area of contract rules and negations, this position is for you! IT Procurement Coordinator:

Provide purchasing guidance to DIS to meet compliance with state procurement rules. Assist DIS in coordinating the timely renewal of software/ hardware maintenance renewals & purchases. Provide guidance on correct procedures for obtaining quotes, management of sole source documentation, funding approval, vendor contract approval, and the creation of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Purchase Orders, records management, and goods receipt in SRM. Assist inventory management with documentation/tracking of high and low value assets. Perform complex administrative, management, and support activities. Perform activities related to fiscal management, procurement, supply services, and auxiliary services. Plan, implement, and coordinate special projects or programs and prepare detailed project reports. Assists with various IT asset administration duties related to the organization’s hardware and software assets. Serve as a backup for re-billing of services, licenses, and equipment to recipient agency. Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor’s degree and relevant program experience.

Additional Requirements:

Knowledge of agency policies, procedures, rules, regulations and program services. Knowledge of federal and state laws, policies, procedures, rules and regulations related to the specific administrative/management function. Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Knowledge of governmental fiscal and personnel procedures, practices and policies. Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment. Ability to coordinate diverse administrative/management functions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
