Our client is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional who excels in data analysis and visualization, aiming to directly influence policy and financial decisions through insightful data interpretation. The candidate will be engaged in a full-time position, collaborating closely with the leadership team to optimize data-driven strategies. This position requires a proactive approach to handle complex data sets from various sources, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
Responsibilities:
Analyze data using SQL, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Tableau to create reports, visualizations, and presentations that support policy and financial decisions. Produce annual report exhibits, statistical reports, and forecast analyses by integrating data from multiple databases. Research and validate quality measure specifications, including denominators, numerators, and rates submitted to regulatory agencies. Prepare and analyze cost report information for various providers to assess profitability and solvency. Develop short and long-term forecasting models, considering significant variables that influence outcomes. Facilitate the integration of data from financial systems, claims systems, eligibility systems, and third-party sources into both ad-hoc and standardized reports. Ensure timely delivery of accurate reports for all share-point requests, maintaining high standards of data integrity and reliability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Health Administration, Statistics, Economics, or Data Analytics. 5-7 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics within the healthcare, insurance, finance, or economics sectors. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Proven ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively presenting data insights to stakeholders. Experience in developing and maintaining management reporting systems.
Preferred:
Master’s level education in Data Analytics or Computer Engineering.
