Quality Analyst in Fort Lauderdale, FL! Job Description We are seeking a skilled Quality Analyst to perform thorough quality control analyses on manufacturing data, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. The role involves utilizing Excel to create and manage complex data sets, performing data analysis, and generating insightful reports. Responsibilities + Conduct thorough quality control analyses on manufacturing data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. + Utilize Excel to create and manage complex data sets, perform data analysis, and generate insightful reports. + Develop and maintain pivot tables and V lookups to streamline data processing and enhance data accuracy. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to implement data-driven quality improvements. + Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product quality and manufacturing efficiency. + Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices. + Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and techniques. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Data Analytics, Quality Management, Engineering, or a similar discipline. + 1-4 years of experience in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment. + Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, V lookups, and other data analysis functions. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights. + Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. + Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with ISO9001 standards. + Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS). + Audit experience. + Familiarity with HVAC systems. Work Environment The role primarily involves working in your own office space, with approximately 90% of your time dedicated to this area. However, you will need to occasionally work on the production floor, collaborating cross-functionally with production teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $34.00/hr.
