Senior Data Analyst Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for eliciting, understanding, interpretingand representing business requirements for data, analyses,metadata, training, service levels, data quality, andperformance. Act as the conduit between the customer and technicalteams to ensure requirements are understood. Works with architects to translate requirements intotechnical specifications. Validates that data warehouse meets requirements andservice-level agreements. Act in an advisory capacity in data model reviews,architecture approach and solution design to ensure high qualitydeliverables. Responsible for partnering with management and businessunits on innovative ways to successfully utilize data and relatedtools to advance business objectives.
Senior Data Analyst Job Skills Required:
7+ years’ experience working as a BI analyst or dataanalyst leveraging BI tools in a centralized data warehouseenvironment. 7+ years hands-on experience working with SQL with anunderstanding of different data structures. 3+ years’ experience with data modeling concepts andtechniques. Proven experience on projects involving data integration,data cleansing and data conversion activities. Experience working with Cognos v.8.x or higher or similarBI tool.
