Job Description
Data Analyst Persistent Systems Jacksonville, FL 32256 We are seeking an Entry-Level Data Analyst to support our warehouse operations through data extraction, reporting, and system reconciliation. This individual will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and internal stakeholders to ensure data integrity between our warehouse management system (Basil) and our ERP system (SysPro). The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn SQL reporting in a real-world logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and run SQL/MySQL queries to extract operational and inventory data from Basil , our internal warehouse system. Compare and reconcile warehouse inventory data with the ERP system (SysPro) to identify discrepancies in inventory movement and stock levels. Develop user-friendly reports for warehouse teams to help monitor inventory by serial numbers, shipment activity, and stock discrepancies. Support the preparation of accurate financial and inventory data for management and executive reporting. Collaborate directly with the Warehouse Manager (Tracey Johnson), who will provide mentorship and training on reporting needs and systems.
Optional:
Use Power BI to create simple dashboards for visualizing data (nice to have, not required). Document and maintain SQL queries and procedures for reuse and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications:
Basic to intermediate SQL/MySQL skills (can be self-taught or through bootcamps/coursework). Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets. Clear communication and collaboration skills. Willingness to learn and grow into more complex analytics tasks under mentorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools. Experience with inventory, warehouse operations, or ERP systems (especially SysPro) is a plus. Education in a technical field or data analytics is preferred but not required if skills are demonstrated through experience or projects.
