OverviewThe Business Data Quality Analyst is responsible forcarrying out routine, process-based tasks that support theaccuracy, consistency, and reliability of critical business data.

This data supports strategic decision-making, client outcomes, andregulatory compliance within banking operations. Working undergeneral supervision, the Analyst assists various departments bymonitoring, reviewing, and reporting on data related to salesperformance, client risk profiles, and data governance activities.

This role helps reinforce high data quality standards throughconsistent execution of data validation and supportfunctions.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor and review sales and risk data to support qualityacross key areas such as pipeline metrics, KYC, credit exposure,and compliance reporting. Apply established data quality rules, KPIs, and standards inline with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements. Perform data profiling, validation, cleansing, andreconciliation activities to detect and report datainconsistencies. Support Data Stewards and cross-functional teams (Sales, Risk,Compliance, IT) in identifying root causes of data issues andtracking corrective actions. Assist with creating and maintaining data dashboards and basicreports to display data quality trends and metrics. Participate in data checks for audits, regulatory submissions,and internal projects by verifying accuracy and completeness. Maintain documentation of data lineage, metadata, and routinequality control procedures to meet audit standards. Follow defined data quality processes and contribute to therollout of governance practices as directed. Provide input on improving data entry, storage, and validationprocesses in collaboration with business and IT staff. Support training efforts by sharing documented standards andanswering routine data quality questions from users. Coordinate with data engineering and analytics teams to verifydataset accuracy and completenes.

Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in data quality, data governance, orbusiness/data analysis in banking or financial services. Experience using SQL to perform data validation, queries, andanalysis. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data visualization toolssuch as Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with sales and risk-related data sets, includingCRM data, credit exposure, and compliance metrics. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail whenreviewing and validating data. Effective verbal and written communication skills; able tocollaborate with both technical and non-technicalteams.

EducationAcceptable qualifications include a combination ofeducation and relevant professional experience. Educationalbackgrounds in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, orrelated disciplines are beneficial.
