C2C is notallowed)The Data Science Analyst will be an integral part oftransforming the practice of pricing decisions for the Landdivision of World Fuel Services. As a Data Science Analyst forPricing, you will help build the next generation pricing system,while putting data at the core of our decisions and processes.

ABtesting ramp-up, forecasting challenges, and complex analysis willbe part of your mission. The person in this role will use moderndistributed computing technologies, open-sourced tools, and rich,proprietary datasets to unlock opportunities by predicting customerdemand, customer willingness to pay, and price sensitivity in orderto determine the right price and optimize gross profit. The Analysthas ongoing exposure to senior executives, providing theopportunity to influence key decisions and shapestrategies.

Responsibilities:

Envisions and builds advanced models and analytics to transformprice decisions and the pricing process. Identify test groups and data sources. Identify control groupsto minimize bias. Research and develop statistical learning and Machine Learningmodels for data analysis. Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologiesas needed for specific models or analysis. Drive the knowledge of price elasticity forward, defining amethodology which enables calculation of elasticity from the pastand use it for future estimates. Ensure that your model is accessible for others. Collaborate with team members to build machine learningsolutions from development through validation and deployment. Work with modern open source tools to explore unique andproprietary data sources to discover new relationships andactionable insights. Conduct deep reviews of client-level pricing. Monitor andenhance the pricing model. Identify revenue and profit growth opportunities, evaluate thefinancial impact of changes to the business, and present pricingdecisions for a wide variety of venues. Provide revenue assumptions and projections for newconcepts. Present and interpret data results to senior management and keystakeholders in a concise and clear manner using verbal andpresentation skills.
