Position Objective:

The Data Analyst will turn complex healthcare data into actionable insights that drive product development, clinical decision-making, and business strategy. The Data Analyst will work cross-functionally with program managers, product development, clinicians, and business leaders to make sense of large datasets, uncover trends, and inform strategic decisions.

Accountability:

The incumbent will report to the Chief Technology Officer.

Essential Functions:

Analyze large, complex healthcare datasets (e.g., coverage, claims, clinical information sets) to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Develop queries and reports using SQL for internal stakeholders and external clients. Generate and populate datasets for program quarterly business reviews Collaborate with teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems. Support program teams and other stakeholders with metrics development, A/B testing, and data validation. Translate business questions into data queries and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Monitor KPIs related to patient outcomes, platform performance, and user engagement. Contribute to data governance and documentation best practices. Must exhibit excellent skills in the following areas: verbal/written communication, computer/data entry/software proficiency, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, self-discipline, pro-activeness, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in healthcare or healthtech. Proficiency in SQL Excellent communication skills. Strong statistical analysis skills and working knowledge of tools such as Python, R, or Excel. Familiarity with healthcare data formats and standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, ICD/CPT codes). Experience with HIPAA-compliant data handling and de-identification practices, preferred. Knowledge of value-based care, population health, and/or clinical workflows, preferred. Experience working in a startup or fast-paced technology environment, preferred.
