- Key Responsibilities
- + Demonstrated ability in data analytics, data warehousing, and data visualization.
+ Ability to combine data from multiple sources to tell a story, identify trends and patterns in the data and extract key insights to inform product strategies and decisions + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Working understanding of relevant database platforms (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake, Microsoft SQL Server). + Ability to effectively communicate complex data modeling concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. + Ability to navigate through ambiguity and work in fast paced environment + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal + Ability to collaborate with data architects, data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall data strategy. + Ability to learn from the data as you engage with business partners, test, research, and analyze so that you have a deep understanding of the “what and why” the data reflects. + Able to work independently; comfortable seeking guidance when needed. + Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization + Ability to understand and quickly adapt to changing business priorities and technology advancements
- Required Skills
- + 10+ years of experience in analyzing business requirements and translate them into effective data models, considering data quality, performance, and scalability.
+ 8+ years of analyst experience in the form of research, requirements definition, gap analysis, data mining, and data profiling. + Proven experience in building data visualization dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI. + Experience working in the Cybersecurity or Risk industry is preferred + Understanding of modeling strategies and concepts (dimensional, relational, unstructured). + Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data models (3NF) in a relational database environment. + Solid understanding of data lineage. + Ability to break down and detail the flow of data from source to target and develop data flow diagrams. + Experience with scripting languages for data manipulation, querying, and profiling on cloud and on-premise database technologies – PL/SQL, SQL, Unix shell scripting, Python, R. + Experience with Snowflake, ServiceNow, data modeling tools is a plus
