Job Description:
Hite Consulting is seeking multiple Data Analysts to support our client at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This position will be responsible for modernizing and transforming data analysis and reporting capabilities. This position is a hybrid role primarily working remotely, with client engagement activities in Atlanta, GA. Candidates should be located in or around the Atlanta Metro area.
Position Duties:
Performs data analytic functions to include the development of measures, and metrics to help foster performance towards service targets, objectives, and goals to influence decisions. Track metrics, trends, and analysis of activities surrounding the input, processing, and output of data from various computer programs or systems. Creates a baseline assessment of current reporting that support operations, to include capabilities to support the department internally and enterprise services; Develops recommendations to automate business processes to include enabling real-time collection of data, analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Improves business operations, including efficient clearance processes, to effectively utilize resources; Produces real-time data analytics including quantitative and comparative analysis to recognize trends; Gathers data and develops reporting outcomes that speak to leadership to aid in efficient and effective decision making Uses tools such as Power BI dashboards for strategic performance monitoring along with other ways to visualize and report on key data; Produces an evidence-based approach to turn data into information to aid in decision making; Focuses on key attributes to improve cost, schedule, performance, and timely reporting that decision makers can understand, influence, and act on results reported; Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science , Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience; Master’s degree or higher with 8+ years of experience ; Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst in large qualitative and quantitative data sets; Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques; Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings especially in dashboard form; Ability to translate data into quantitative and qualitative understandable information for high level executives, employees, and outside stakeholders; Experience with SharePoint, VA, SQL, Power BI, Tableau; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization; Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team; US Citizenship is required to obtain or maintain an active NACI security clearance.
