The Opportunity:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for providing analysis and insight into all operational, financial, and e-commerce activities, regarding their effectiveness and profitability. The Data Analyst must be innovative and ensure a focus on delivering accurate and quality output.
What You Will Do:
Provide data driven input, with insight and forward-thinking recommendations to business leaders Interpret, evaluate and interrelate company and research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision making Deliver prescriptive analytics, manage and produce reports; recommend operational business activities and any other business activity as defined Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues Analyze business activities and present results and recommendations to enhance operational strategies both for awareness, effectiveness and overall financial benefit Develop predictive models of customer value, behavior, and responsiveness based on various business activities Ensure all deliverables adhere to department quality and delivery standards Maintain and stay abreast of the latest analytical tools and trends Lead meetings and develop presentations to easily explain analysis and drive actionable results
The Experience You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s in Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance or related field Advanced Knowledge of advanced quantitative analytic techniques and protocols (e.g. statistics, econometric modeling, predictive modeling, simulation and scenario analysis models, optimization methodologies, and forecasting) used to build necessary business models 5+ years of Data Analysis experience Knowledge with data analytics and data mining 2+ years of experience with statistical software packages (SAS, SQL, R, Python) 2 + years of experience with VBA, and Power BI data visualization like Tableau Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and able to create Pivot tables and VLOOKUP’s Experience working with cross-functional teams to build consensus and project plans
Preferred Skills:
E-commerce or retail experience Master’s degree in a related field is a plus
