Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr. Data Analyst with hands-on experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting to support data-driven business decisions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI, and possess strong statistical and problem-solving skills to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in SQL
and Excel for data manipulation and querying.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
and Power BI
.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
Knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and preparation techniques.
Familiarity with statistical methods and ability to apply them to real-world problems.
Strong communication skills and ability to present findings in a clear, actionable manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data manipulation, querying, and analysis using Excel
and SQL
.
Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau
and Power BI to support business decision-making.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Apply statistical methods and logical thinking to derive actionable insights and address complex business problems.
Clean, organize, and prepare raw data for analysis, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
Handle data quality issues such as missing values and duplicates using appropriate techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver insights that support strategic initiatives.
Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations for stakeholders at various levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Experience with scripting languages like Python or R is a plus.
Exposure to data warehousing and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is desirable.
