Coach Across America Coach Across America ensures every child has a coach who believes in them, no matter their background. We recruit and train coach mentors, partnering with schools and organizations across the country to place coaches where they’re needed most, building resilience and leadership. The CAA Data Analysis and Reporting VISTA plays a critical role in strengthening these efforts by analyzing data, identifying trends, and producing reports that help us make data-driven decisions to enhance community outcomes. In this VISTA role, you will clean and analyze program data, create data visualizations, and develop standardized reporting procedures. You’ll also collaborate with staff and local site partners to ensure data accuracy and consistency. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your skills in data analysis, reporting, and visualization. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about turning data into actionable insights, developing clear and efficient reporting processes, and making a measurable impact. A passion for data-driven solutions is essential, and while an interest in sports is always a plus, what matters most is your commitment to creating positive change.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Data Analysis & Reporting VISTA will increase effectiveness through stronger communication of program impact, more informed decision-making, and sustainable systems for data analysis and reporting. They will clean and organize program data to ensure it’s accurate, consistent, and ready for analysis. Using tools like Excel and Google Sheets, they’ll develop processes for identifying errors and standardizing datasets. They will analyze data to uncover trends, patterns, and key outcomes, and collaborate with staff to define success indicators and explore areas for improvement. The VISTA will create clear visualizations and reports that communicate insights effectively, develop reporting templates and dashboards, and help prepare final summaries with actionable recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one statistics or data analysis course. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, statistics, sociology, or related field. Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Canva, Tableau, Google Data Studio) a plus. Familiarity with Salesforce. Strong communication and writing skills.
