out of 5 stars 1201 N State St, Rolla, MO 65409 The Data Analyst in Business Intelligence work on a collaborative team to build reporting, analytics, and solutions for the S&T community using Microsoft Power BI. This position requires continuous attention of time-to-value for analytics, data quality, best practices for measurement and visualization, and data security. Analysts will participate and make significant contributions to enterprise data cross all data domains. Beyond building Power BI reports, the analyst will help identify areas where data insights and visualizations can improve business processes and outcomes. The hire will be required to come to the S&T campus on a semi-regular basis at their own expense for meetings, training, troubleshooting, etc. The rest of the time the position will work remotely. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, economics, or related field Proficiency in SQL, with experience writing queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, report design, and DAX Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric as part of broader data integration and analytical workflows Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and team members Expereince with PeopleSoft Expereince in higher education Anticipated Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $68,200-$80,200 Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
