Junior Competitive Intelligence Research/Data Analyst BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Junior Competitive Intelligence Research/Data Analyst in Remote/Madison, Mississippi 39110

Shift Timing:

Mon – Friday

• 30-35 hours / week, with the ability to handle surges in work up to 50 hours / week
  Anticipated start date: 1-2 Weeks

Duration:

7 Months

Pay Rate:

$36.70 on W2

Duties and Responsibilities:

This role is for a Junior Competitive Intelligence Research/Data Analyst
Position is fully remote
30-35 hours / week, with the ability to handle surges in work up to 50 hours / week Summary of the position:
The CI Research/Data Analyst will be working with the CI team performing tasks from simple data conversion (i.e. converting pdf data to Excel) to researching, summarizing and analyzing more complex data and sources.

Desired background of ideal candidates:

• Comfort working with and in new topics and information areas
• Strong ‘curiosity’ in understanding how and why things work they way they do
• Ability to research and desire to keep digging and trying new angles to find the answer
• Experience with summarizing and analyzing data
• A Degree in a math, technology or sciences oriented discipline (Economics, Finance, Engineering, Sciences, Business Analytics/Informatics); or at least 3 years of professional research and analysis experience in any field and a Degree an arts oriented discipline (Business Administration, Library Science)
