Job Description

2025-2026 Data Analyst 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Concord, NC 28025 Exempt •Position Available as of July 2025•General Definition of Work Performs complex professional work recording, monitoring, auditing and data analyst for the facilities department. Works with systems within the district, maintaining and submitting related required or requested reports, updating programming and related work as apparent or assigned. Qualification Requirements Minimum 2 year degree required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) or 5 years of experience. The educational requirement can be reduced or eliminated if a candidate has a significant amount of related experience. Salary Pay Grade NC16 Reports to Director of Facilities Essential Functions Research information for new technologies and; recommends system modifications based on life cycle cost analysis. Generates and updates facility policy and management plans. Organizes, attends and leads meetings on a variety of topics dealing with utility management practices and behavioral training. Provides analytical reports to staff and can generate informational data upon request. Maintains databases for Preventative Maintenance and Capital Forecasting. Establish operating standards and procedures for building systems with assistance from other department staff and/or consultants. Collects and analyzes external and internal data; produces reports. Generates requested or required reports. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to read and interpret plans, statements and manuals related to facilities. Ability to operate standard office equipment and related hardware and software. Ability to learn specialized equipment and software such as complex printers based on facility needs. Ability to communicate ideas effectively both orally and in written form. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public. Special Requirements Must possess a valid North Carolina driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
