Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Data Analyst with a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience across a broad range of security domains. This individual will play a critical role in bridging the gap between cybersecurity operations and data analytics, helping to onboard and integrate data into our core cybersecurity suite of tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business partners to understand cybersecurity-related data needs and use cases.
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential threats.
Connect to and extract data from various sources to solve business problems.
Present and demo data findings to business stakeholders for validation and sign-off.
Partner with development teams to onboard approved data into a big data platform.
Support the integration and optimization of cybersecurity tools and technologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
Extensive Cybersecurity background with hands-on experience in:
Vulnerability Management
Application Security & SDLC
SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)
Threat Detection & Hunting
Access Management
GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response)
Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Security Technology Controls (Firewalls, Proxies, IDS/IPS)
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate cybersecurity needs into actionable data insights.
Experience working with big data systems and onboarding data pipelines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or similar SIEM platforms.
Familiarity with scripting or query languages (e.g., Python, SQL).
Prior experience in a hybrid work environment.
