This position assists in the implementation of an enterprise data governance program and upholds best in class data standards. Areas of responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Enforce data governance standards Guarantee attributes and meta data are captured correctly Create and maintain methods of monitoring and reporting data incidents as well as build a common data dictionary Facilitate strategies designed to enhance reliabilities and reduce redundancies Develop control structures within a simple environment to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels. Provide thought leadership and participate with projects that involve any of the upstream or downstream data flows and processes Enforce controls that are in place over applications to ensure the data integrity by performing periodic data integrity gap analysis Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by partnering with the Business and Functional owners Education, Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or similar experience 2 years experience in insulation distribution Understanding of building materials, specifically SPI’s product line or similar A cheerleader and agent for organizational change Superior communication and presentation skills Collaborates positively and effectively with all areas of the business Work Environment Remote Physical demands may include but are not limited to: Sitting for extended periods of time Travel 10% travel may be expected Exemption Status Exempt
