Position Summary:
The Data Analyst will report to the Business Process Specialist and be responsible for analyzing data to develop workflows that support the operations of the Consumer Collections Practice Group. This position involves various analysis and reporting functions to build efficient solutions that ensure the integration of our systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong analytical mindset, an understanding of various programming languages, and an aptitude for translating datasets into actionable insights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Develop applications using Microsoft Power Apps, or similar tools, to meet business requirements and streamline processes. Collaborate with team members and various stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional solutions. Analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights that support business objectives. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across firm systems. Design, test, and deploy applications incorporating user interfaces, workflows, and data integrations. Manage applications to ensure they are efficient, scalable, and offer a seamless user experience. Provide troubleshooting support for data systems and analytical tools to maintain smooth operations. Assist in the automation of recurring reports and ad hoc analysis requests. Remain up to date with industry trends and advancements in software solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or similar field, or equivalent experience. Microsoft Power Platform certification a plus. Experience in a data analysis or similar role, preferably within the financial services or legal industries. Strong understanding of coding languages such as Python, SQL, HTML, or similar programming languages, with the ability to learn proprietary scripting tools on the job. Experience in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Canvas Apps, and Power Automate. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and fellow employees.
