Position Overview:

To take raw insurance data from various sources and turn it into visualizations that provide a holistic view of insurance production performance and trends. To analyze insurance data to determine the root cause of issues, identify opportunities, make informed predictions, and provide actionable takeaways to help management make data-driven decisions and drive growth of the insurance platform.

Essential Responsibilities:

(30 %) Analyze large datasets to drive business decisions and identify growth opportunities. (30 %) Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, datasets, and visualizations. (20 %) Develop, implement, maintain, and improve data handling protocols for data integrity, structure and workflow efficiency. (20 %) Identify critical metrics, trends and KPIs and communicate findings to leadership. Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, or other related field of study. An additional 4 years of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of a Master’s degree. 6+ years of relevant work experience. Proficient with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Builder, Tableau Pulse, and Tableau Cloud/Server including the ability to clean, transform, and analyze data, create interactive visualizations/dashboards, and understand and interpret calculated fields. Proficient with Power BI, Power Query. Proficient with Joins and Unions to combine data. Proficient with SQL including the ability to read and write SQL statements. Proficient with MS Excel including the ability to create and use Pivot Tables and functions. Proficient with MS Access including the ability to run queries and reports. Proficient with mathematics and statistics for data analysis. Preferred Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Experience with Salesforce and Applied Epic management systems. Experience with Nice CX One analytics. Experience with IBI WebFocus.

Job Environment & Physical Requirements:

Hybrid in-office/remote work environment. Must be able to sit, bend or stand for prolonged periods. Must be able to use the telephone for prolonged periods. Must be able to use a computer for prolonged periods.
