Sr. Data Analyst Position Available In Hudson, New Jersey

Sr. Data Analyst (ACE American Insurance Company (Chubb)), (Jersey City, NJ): Working with high volumes of data, interpreting data, analyzing results, performing gap assessments and providing ongoing reports; Preparing and maintaining documentation on data structures, processing flows and data models; Building data and mapping specifications for development teams; Acting as liaison between domain and data platform teams to document issues and requirements and write technical specifications and design documents; Creating and maintaining backlogs in Jira and working with domain and data platform to plan features according to business value; Supporting development on data ingestion pipelines, ensuring that source data model is reflected in key deliverables; Elaborating user stories for technical team members and ensuring regular workflow for team members; Provisioning business information and ensuring that key data objectives are effectively identified and supported by stakeholders; Responding to data related inquiries to support business and technical teams while analyzing, building and documenting data lineage; and Mitigating impediments in data/process flows impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience with data analysis languages including SQL, Python; Analytical ability to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets; Capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights; Ability to simplify complex data insights for audiences without a technical background; Experience with report writing and presenting findings; and Experience creating tasks and maintaining backlog in JIRA. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems or closely related field, and at least two years of experience as a Data Analyst or related occupation.

Salary:
