Job Description
Data Analyst wanted by Valley National Bank d/b/a Valley Bank in Morristown, New Jersey. Extract, store, transform and process data through data analytics and generate output for visualization/analysis by internal audit team. Coordinate data analytics trainings for internal audit department to promote use of data analytics. Prepare presentation slides for audit committee reporting. Use data analytics to automate audit testing and develop new techniques for continuous auditing/monitoring. Work with audit team to identify, design and develop data analytics routines to support audit assignments. Review audit planning documents for areas that data analytics can be leveraged. Job may be performed remotely up to two days per week.
Requires:
Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Business Analytics or closely related field, plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as an accounting or auditing professional or a similar role. Experience must include 1 year working with the following testing tools: Power Query, Python, Power BI, and SQL.
Salary:
$111,966.00/year. Standard benefits package.
