Junior Data Analyst Position Available In New York, New York

Description – Data Analyst (Recent college graduate is okay). Hybrid in New York Strong SQL skills

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations as needed by program.
• Design and develop tables, views, stored procedures, indexes, functions, dictionaries, and complex ad- hoc queries for SQL Server databases.
• Work with program management team to prioritize business and reporting/data needs.
• Identify potential risks and issues in any requested data reporting or changes in existing data reports.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all data reporting.
• Exercise critical thinking to identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through automation.
• Communicate/coordinate with team to ensure proper implementation of company standards and procedures.

Job Qualifications/Skills:

Required:

• 1-2+ years of experience with relational database (Microsoft SQL server), including table structuring, creating queries and stored procedures.
• 1+ years of development experience with object-oriented languages.
• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) including creating/editing macros.
• Bachelor’s in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Good communication skills – both written and oral.
• Must be able to work independently, and in team environments.

Duties will include working under the direction of our Data Manager on special projects and on maintaining existing projects in a sales/service organization.
