Basic Qualifications Education/Training:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field normally required; specialized bank finance education/training. Skills(s): Excellent ready, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; ability to interpret significant amounts of data and provide meaningful summaries; outstanding data analytics skills; demonstrated proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial statements and financial institution data; working knowledge of bank systems and coding in those systems related to the accounting function; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; excellent computer skills; strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Experience:

A minimum of two (2) years’ related data analytics or accounting experience is preferred, though not required. General Responsibilities Responsible for performing various duties to support the Bank’s financial and regulatory reporting; coordinating work within the department and with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; communicating with the appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or request for information; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the reporting function; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports. Essential Duties Performs various duties to support the Bank’s financial and regulatory reporting of which the following are illustrative: Uses a variety of report development toolsets to create reports, charts, and dashboards. Determine the best method to provide information; report, data, chart, dashboard based on the needs and level of understanding of the users. Reviews reports outputs for reasonableness and to validate the accuracy of the data inputs. Prepares various reports, including reports related to loans, deposits, and other financial matters. Provides a centralized location to provide any requested data from various information systems in a manner that the end user will find accurate and meaningful. Assists with the preparation of monthly reports of financial results for management and Board of Directors review. Assists with the asset/liability management modeling and reporting functions. Assists in ensuring accuracy and efficiencies in the preparation of the Call Report. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate personnel. Responds to inquiries relating to a particular area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given timeframes and within established policy. Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank’s compliance with all regulatory requirements. Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports. Ancillary Duties Perform tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
