The Opportunity The Work Management Data Analyst combines the roles of a data analyst and a developer, tasked with designing, developing, and testing reporting solutions for internal partners, while using the data to highlight business opportunities. This position requires someone with a strong interest in data and experience in enhancing its value through various activities. Your solutions will drive actionable improvements to our business and must be customer focused and innovative. Reporting and Data Visualization, Dashboard Development and Support, and Task Automation What you’ll do Be a Power Platform champion in the organization. Continuously sharpen skills and explore new tools and opportunities with a variety of data across various platforms. Plan and coordinate reporting of complex information and processes across multiple platforms. Analyzes complex business processes. Design and develop technological solutions such as dashboards, reports and advanced analytics, and assist with the data needs of other analysts throughout the organization. Exercise judgment in selecting and interpreting information, handling analytical problems for non-routine issues; ability to quickly determine when deviations or anomalies can lead to problems. Communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze/interpret business information needs and translate those needs into effective reporting or visualization tools. Be a forward thinker, with the desire to explore, learn and apply new tools and analytic opportunities. Build and utilize effective and positive working relationships with other departments. Be a disrupter, challenge the status quo, and encourage team members and partners in the business unit to innovate and embrace what is possible. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, Certifications or equivalent experience (Degrees desired in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or related field). Post-educational experience with data analytics, business intelligence, data visualization or information management. Three (3) or more years of relevant technical experience. Previous report writing experience is a must including experience working with a query or programming language (for example: Power Query, DAX, etc.) Knowledge of cloud-based reporting solutions. Must have strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead meetings efficiently and encourage healthy discussions to gather required information to make decisions and achieve objectives. Experience with MS Office and Power Platform tools (Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Office 365, SharePoint, etc.) Knowledge of natural gas operations areas Must be results oriented with a drive to explore new technologies and value-added opportunities for the organization. Must be an effective listener and observer, possessing the ability to translate knowledge obtained into appropriate action. Ability to be self-sufficient and self-motivated with proven ability to work autonomously. Preferred Qualifications Certifications desired in data analytics, data science, data management, etc. from accredited institutions such as AWS and Microsoft. Three (3) years or more experience with data visualization and reporting in Power Bi. Knowledge of Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence. Experience with automating manual tasks using Power Automate.
