We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Protection Analyst to join our Team. In this role, you will provide guidance through the entire data lifecycle, ensuring data access is managed and maintained according to rigorous security, engineering, and governance principles. You will implement programs using selected frameworks by establishing effective policies, protocols, and fostering collaboration among teams.

What You’ll Do:

Analyze system reports to identify gaps in security control coverage and produce management reporting metrics, remediation plans, or take direct action to mitigate issues
Monitor system dashboards, alerts, and scheduled reporting to identify and escalate security and technical issues impacting organizational data or systems
Compile and format reports to provide visibility to management and assist with security control implementations, audits, or adjustments
Assist with communication and coordination of data protection project tasks and resources
Review daily threat intelligence and security news feeds to maintain security awareness

What We’re Looking For:
Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology
Technical experience in configuring, implementing, and maintaining enterprise networks, hosts, applications, and directory services
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and laws such as PCI, FFIEC, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and GLBA
Strong written and oral communication skills across varying levels of the organization.
Understanding of service design, delivery concepts, and control frameworks
Organized with the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within defined SLAs
Excellent judgment and the ability to make quick decisions in complex situations
Preferred Skills/Experience
Basic experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Basic experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) products for data-at-rest and data-in-motion.
Relevant entry-level security or technical certifications (CompTIA A+, SEC+, or

GIAC GSEC

) are preferred
