Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is seeking a Data Engineering Product Owner to join our Corporate IT team. As a Data Engineering Product Owner, you will lead the development and management of data engineering products, ensuring they meet business needs and drive strategic goals. You will function as a bridge between data engineering teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and actionable product features.
LOCATION
This role can sit 100% remote or at our HQ in Jacksonville, FL.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Define the vision and roadmap for data engineering products. Align product goals with overall business objectives. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities. Foster collaboration between data engineers, analysts, and business users. Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, and drive Prioritize product features based on business needs and technical feasibility. Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of data engineering products. Ensure products are scalable, secure, and compliant with data governance Keep stakeholders informed about product progress. Gather feedback and address concerns. Define metrics and KPIs to measure product success. Understand the modern cloud data stack and data engineering principles. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Ensure data quality and integrity within data products.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in data engineering, computer science, business, or a related field. Proven experience in product management, preferably in data engineering or analytics. Strong understanding of data engineering principles and methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technical requirements.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, data warehousing, and data lakehouses. Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies such as Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Function Apps, API Management, and CosmosDB. Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
