The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering and analytics, with experience in big data technologies and cloud services. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and databases to support our data-driven initiatives. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage AI and machine learning solutions, ensuring the efficient processing and utilization of large datasets. Duties Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse. Develop and maintain scalable big data solutions using AWS services, ensuring high availability and reliability. Utilize SQL for querying databases, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity. Collaborate with data scientists to integrate AI models into production systems for enhanced analytics capabilities. Conduct data mining activities to uncover insights that drive business decisions. Engage in database design and architecture discussions to improve system efficiency and scalability. Work with Spark for processing large datasets in real-time environments. Maintain documentation of engineering processes, workflows, and best practices. Experience Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks related to data processing. Strong understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop or similar frameworks is preferred. Experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., S3, Redshift, EMR) is highly desirable. Familiarity with database design principles and experience working with relational databases. Knowledge of AI concepts and their application in real-world scenarios is a plus. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
